COVID-19 CRISIS SUPPORT –UNDERGARMENTS SUPPORT DURING COVID19 PANDEMIC at KELLY’S GOVERNMENT GIRLS CHILDREN HOME SUPPORT
The request was brought to us for the undergarment support by the superintendent of the Government Girls Home at Kellys, Chennai. There are about 110 girls under the care and protection and in conflict with law, who are being taken care of by the Government Home for the Juveniles. These girls are supported by the government with good food and Education, Vocational Training etc. These girls are even provided with festive clothes during every festival by the government. They usually wear uniform provided by the government on the other days. But the undergarment support is the need of the hour during the Covid19 crisis time. We distributed 310 pieces of undergarments worth 47, 721 rupees to the girls between 8 and 18 years of age at the Government Children Home, Kellys, Chennai.

Fruit Distributed : GUAVA.
No: of Beneficiaries: 150
We walked into the Juvenile Home with the ultimate goal to help in the rehabilitation and reintegration process. Unlike other children, they are the children in conflict with law and the children under care and protection. They need more love comparatively. These children have fallen prey when they had dropped out of their safety nets. They have beautiful faces, twinkling eyes but with low self-esteem and low self-confidence. In order to work with them, we have to become one among them. Project Future India Trust is reassuring these children that they are not alone. Our ultimate goal is to give Mental Health Support, De-Addiction therapy, Education Support, build confidence, empower, rehabilitate and reintegrate them successfully in the society. In this process we have designed various programs for them, one such program is Malnutrition-Free Program. Through this program, we visit them every week to give them a fruits and other snacks like biscuits support every week.
Today we distributed Guava to the children in the Government Children Home for Girls, Kellys and the Observation Home for Boys at Kellys, Chennai.

EDUCATION SUPPORT ACTIVITY at the Various Child Care Institutions in Chennai.
November 2, 2020 -EDUCATION SUPPORT at Government Children Home for Girls, Kellys
“Give a Man a Fish, U Feed Him a Day. Teach a Man to Fish, U Feed Him Lifetime.”
Our Heart Beats Only for Love
Education Support to Kellys Government Children Home for Girls. Reaching the children who are under care and protection is not that easy. It is a process. These children had been abandoned, had dropped out of their safety nets, had fallen prey. Department of Social Defence is taking initiatives to safeguard, empower, rehabilitate and reintegrate these children back into the society. We know that giving them just fruits, biscuits, dresses will not change their life in one day. Ours is a long-term goal through which we can empower them and build confidence in them through imparting the importance of education, letting them know the career opportunities after they leave the home. One such opportunity can be competitive exams. If they have passed 10th and completed 18 years, they can write various state level and central government exams. If they succeed, they will influence the other girls like them. As an initiative, we started supporting these girls with our Education Support Services. Through KK’s Academy, Project Future India Trust will educate and empower these girls .
The children had expressed lots of interest in learning. Some of them wanted to study agriculture, some of them wanted to become teachers, and some of them wanted to become IAS officers
