In today’s meeting, we had discussed about the various social issues and how Project Future India Trust and Namdhesam Foundation can be a part in bringing changes in the lives of the vulnerable children, youth, and women. We have discussed about the corrective measures that can be offered to the vulnerable children and the various programmes that can implemented for the welfare of the correction authorities and allied systems. It is a great honour and blessing to hear Sir’s experiences and share our on-field experiences and journey for the welfare of the women and children and especially juvenile children. Thanks a lot once again for your valuable time Sir. We will plan on implementing the ideas soon as discussed along with The Greater Chennai Police.
It is an eyeopener to hear about DAD- Drive Against Drug enforced by the COP, The Greater Chennai. This Drive will be an eyeopener for the insights into the links between drug abuse, drug trafficking and increasing crime especially among the vulnerable children and adolescents. The department had launched a special drive against drug use among youth and students and formed special team to bust the network which make drugs available to the younger generation. Not only drugs but also the tobacco products and other illicit substances that causes addiction among the youngsters and students. This is a tremendous effort to eradicate drug trafficking. Kuddos to this effort.
We as an NGO support DAD. We also request all the other NGOs and the public to support DAD to fight against the Drug Abuse.
Say No to Drugs!
