Stepping into someone else’s shoes to understand human problems, to help improve people’s lives, and to emancipate society as a whole has been a major part of Ms Kalyananthy’s life. She has been supporting individuals and their families through difficult times and has been ensuring vulnerable people, including children, adults and the elderly and safeguarded them from harm. Her role has been to help improve outcomes in people’s lives, acting as a guide and advocate through the NGO she founded, named “Project Future India Trust”.

This array of social activities has been possible because of her expertise in counselling and psychological training which paved the way for her to lay the foundation of “Feel and Heal Counselling Services.” She has had a thorough training at the Institute of Professional Excellence, Canada which made her a Certified NLP Master Practitioner. She is a De-addiction Therapist at the Government Observation Home for Boys & Girls, Chennai and the Mentor for the Psychology Subdomain-SRM BioCOM. She has explicit knowledge in teaching and classroom management to facilitate academic excellence, social and emotional growth of the students. Ms Kalyananthy has completed her Bachelors in Pharmacy from SRM University which enables her to play the role of a Paramedic/Community Pharmacist and Healthcare worker. She currently pursues Masters in Political Science from University of Madras. She is a certified School, Corporate, Family Counselor, Addiction Counselor.

Many accolades came on the way for Ms Kalyananthy. She has been awarded the COVID-19 Neighbourhood Hero by HDFC Bank; she was invited by SUN MUSIC  for “Oru Nayagan Udayamaagiran”; her innovative steps for COVID Prevention were telecast by SUN NEWS, VASANTH TV; her views on Suicide Prevention was telecast by News 18 and JAYA TV news; was a Guest speaker for HINDU(Tamil) on Developmental Psychology; her articles on Board Examination and Psychology was published in Dinakaran; her program on prevention of anxiety and depression was telecast on JAYA TV ‘s digital media; and various colleges in Chennai have acknowledged her work as a Psychologist and social worker and was invited numerous times as a Guest Speaker.
